TaeKwondo

Earn a Black Belt in a traditional martial art based on the powerful combination of Taekwondo, Hapkido, Aikido and Judo.

Taekwondo is the world's most popular martial art and it is now an Olympic Sport. Tae means "to kick or destroy with the foot"; Kwon means "fist"; and Do means "way" or "art". Hence, Taekwondo translates as "the art of hand and foot" or "the way of the foot and the

fist".  Taekwondo teachings combines combat technique, self-defense, exercise, and philosophy.  Its utilization of kicking takes advantage of the leg's greater power and reach to disable  the opponent from a distance. Training also incorporates strong hand strikes and various  arm blocks. At Hwang's school all studens learn additional techniques from Hapkido and Judo to enhance their martial arts development.

All of this is accomplished in a positive atmosphere of excitement and fun. A tremendous developmental program for children, teens, and adults alike.
