Rules of the Dojang
- Bow to the flags upon
entering and exiting the dojang.
- Bow to the instructor
whenever he or she is present and higher belts
when you meet them.
- Show respect to the
instructor, higher belts and one another at all
times.
- Show respect for yourself
and others by washing and ironing your uniform
before attending class.
- Practice proper hygiene
to avoid accidents and to stay healthy trim
fingernails, toenails and keep your body clean.
- Attend class regularly,
practice your techniques faithfully and study
the martial arts terminology.
- Respond loudly and
quickly with "Yes Sir" or "Yes Ma'am" whenever
you are called upon by the instructor.
- Cultivate self discipline
and respect for the school by always standing at
attention, sitting up straight and not talking
during class.
- Conduct yourself at all
times as an example of a proper martial artist,
inside and outside of the dojang, by showing
respect, courtesy and humility.
- Bear seriously and
proudly your responsability as a martial arts
student.
